CU Students Stage Silent Protest to Support Israel

November 7th marked the one-month anniversary of the attack on Israel. CU students (and other supporters) staged a silent protest on the CU campus on November 7th from noon – 1 pm at University Memorial Center (UMC) Fountain Square. The protest was organized by Buffs Believe.

Buffs Believe is a newly formed group of Jewish students at CU Boulder seeking to unite our Jewish community with empowerment and love, through taking action in support of Israel. The students formed a clock, holding candles for those we’ve lost and posters of those who’ve been kidnapped. They then formed a Magen David, then all sang Hatikvah.

Sadly, the Jewish students at CU and other universities across the county are experiencing increased antisemitism on campus. They are asking for our support and the support of the greater Jewish community. You can find more information about Buffs Believe here, where you can all follow their Instagram feed to stay updated with their events.
