The Iran Nuclear Deal in a Rapidly-Changing Middle East

I want to invite you to an excellent discussion on the JCPOA (the Iran Nuclear Deal) that Trump has tried to destroy and likely will be President-Elect Biden’s first major foreign policy initiative.

Our stellar group of panelists — including Dr. Nader Hashemi (Center for Middle East Studies), Trita Parsi (Quincy Institute), Barbara Slavin (Atlantic Council), Hassan El-Tayyab (FCNL) and Dylan Williams (J Street) —  will provide in-depth insight into the diplomacy-first approach to restricting Iran’s nuclear capacity, the consequences of US withdrawal from the Iran nuclear agreement and the future of Iran policy in a rapidly-changing Middle East.

We will also discuss what the incoming Biden administration, members of Congress and the American people should know about re-entering the deal and how it can safeguard US interests while promoting peace and stability in the Middle East.

Best,

Merrill Glustrom, J Street Colorado
Kevin Amirehsani, National Iranian American Council

  1. I believe it will change for the better. Biden contends that if Tehran continues to strictly adhere to the 2015 nuclear agreements, including restricting its nuclear program to alleviate economic sanctions, Washington will do the same.
