Children and Family Programs over Winter Break

Children and Family Programs over Winter Break

Milk and Honey Farm at the Boulder JCC will be offering two virtual programs over winter break for families. It’s cold outside, but we can still warm each other’s hearts and get together virtually!

  • Dipped Beeswax Shabbat Candles – Brighten up your winter break and learn to make dipped beeswax Shabbat candles with Milk and Honey Farm’s Beekeeper and herbalist, Tzuria Malpica. Great activity for the whole family! You will need beeswax and wicks. You can choose to purchase and pick up a kit from the JCC for an extra $18. Tuesday, December 22 at 10 AM.
  • Farmside Shabbat on Christmas Day! – “Sha-bbat, Sha-lom, Hay!” Join us for Farmside Shabbat every Friday – including Christmas day. We’ll sing Shabbat songs, explore the farm, read a story, and welcome Shabbat with the blessings on the candles, challah, and grape juice – all from the comfort of your home. Celebrate the songs and traditions in an open, inclusive, and accessible environment. Everyone is welcome but geared to kids 0-7 and their caregivers. Friday, December 25 at 10 AM.
