Another Story with Sadie and Ori

Another Story with Sadie and Ori

We got such a great response to last week’s storytime, that we thought we’d bring you another virtual visit from Sadie and Ori.

Today, Sadie and Ori read “Sadie, Ori, and Nuggles Go to Camp.” This delightful book by Rabbi Jamie Korngold is geared for preschoolers-2nd graders. In this book, Ori has been waiting for years to be old enough to go to sleepaway camp with big sister Sadie. But now that it is time, the first-time camper has to decide if bringing a stuffie is a good idea or if the other kids will make fun.

The Sadie and Ori book series is beloved by young kids around the world. The books have been published in four languages and are PJ Library favorites.

We invite you to put your kids in front of the computer (and feel good about screen time) while you take a 5-minute break. You deserve it!

PS: In real life, Ori and Sadie are both girls, but in the books, Ori is a boy. This was an editorial decision made by the publisher before the movie Frozen came out. Back then, it was thought that a book needed a boy and a girl character to be a hit. Oy! I’m still apologizing to the real Ori.
