Bowling and Chinese on Dec 25, a New Tradition?

While the tradition of eating Chinese on December 25 is well documented, what is perhaps less know is the tradition of  bowling while eating Chinese food. That’s because it only began – at least here in Colorado – in 2016.

And what looks to become an annual tradition, these two activities seem to be well matched for each other, on a day when Jews may feel left out of the festivities a few weeks after Chanukah.

To enjoy this new tradition you will have to travel to Brunswick Lanes in Westminster, conveniently located at: 9150 N Harlan St, Westminster, right off the 92nd Ave exit on the Boulder Turnpike, on Tuesday December 25 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.

The Chinese menu is catered by Leah Brackman of Chabad of NW Metro Denver and is kosher and delicious. Jewish music will be played.

Advance tickets are, adults $24  – children $21 and include the all you can eat Chinese buffet, Bowling and Shoes. Advance reservations are strongly recommended . For more information please visit www.COJewish.com/Dec25 or call 720-984-5805
