The Middle East is still at the forefront of the news, and Jews the world over are concerned about recurring anti-Semitism but also renewed hope for peace. Wednesday night we begin the Days of Awe, a very appropriate time to examine our feelings about the ongoing conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.
The next Jewish community dialogue about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is scheduled for September 30th, 5:30 – 8:30 pm, the Tuesday between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. The event will take place the Boulder JCC, 3800 Kalmia.
Beth Ornstein and Yocheved Landsman have been co-facilitating these dialogues for the Jewish community during the past several years using materials produced by the Public Conversations Project in collaboration with the Jewish Dialogue Group (www.jewishdialogue.org).
Because the dialogue is designed for small groups, pre-registration is required by Sunday, September 28. Participants will have an opportunity to share a light dinner which will be provided.
