Boulder Jewish Family Service (JFS) will host its first fundraiser, “Reel Hope Boulder” on Sunday, November 17, 6:30 p.m. at the Dairy Center for the Arts, 2590 Walnut Street in Boulder. Hollywood producer David Klawans, who discovered the declassified CIA documents that led to the production of Argo, will share the story behind the making of the movie.
Ron Bostwick, a freelance event and music project producer, will interview David Klawans to take the audience behind-the-scenes into what led to the production of the blockbuster film. As a graduate of Boston’s Emerson College, Bostwick has been connected to the entertainment and media industries for more than 30 years. Since 2007 he has been Executive Producer/Special Event Producer of the Boulder International Film Festival where he’s conducted long-form, one-on-one interviews with Alec Baldwin, Oliver Stone, James Franco, Martin Sheen, William H. Macy, and more.
Guests will enjoy Middle Eastern food and drinks. Ticket prices: VIP: $90 (includes private dessert reception with David Klawans); General admission: $54; Students/Seniors: $36. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. All proceeds benefit Boulder JFS.
