With the sun blazing and the temperatures rising, Colorado Jews were out in full force at Sunday’s Boulder Jewish Festival. The Boulder JCC, Camp Inc. and Menorah set up shop on the courthouse lawn and hosted a steady stream of festival-goers all day long. Some came to hear updates on the new JCC building project. Others learned about new offerings at the preschool. And then there were those who took advantage of a photo op with none other than a life size cutout of Mark Zuckerberg. In addition, the Boulder JCC provided the ever popular GAGA pit and lanyard making in the Festival’s kid zone.
According to Boulder JCC Assistant Executive Director, Wendy Aronson, the festival provides an opportunity to have meaningful conversations with members of the community in a fun and friendly environment. Says Aronson,

In particular, Camp Inc.’s Chief Camp Officer Josh Pierce was able to meet with and talk to a lot of new faces and share the Camp Inc. philosophy and its role in the Jewish community for years to come.”
As the day came to a close, the Boulder JCC staff and volunteers turn their attention to next year’s 20th festival.
