“Passport to Chanukah Around the World” on Friday

“Passport to Chanukah Around the World” on FridayCome celebrate the third night of Chanukah at Congregation Har HaShem! This special evening will begin at 5:00 pm with a NEW family program titled “Passport to Chanukah Around the World.”

You don’t have to be a kid to start this global celebration with latkes, sufganiyot, olive oil tasting, games, and other traditions from Mexico, Poland, Italy, Tunisia, Israel, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Australia.

Then travel together into the sanctuary for a community menorah/chanukiah lighting at 6:00 pm followed by a different kind of multi-generational, candle-lit Shabbat service with traditional teachings, songs, and prayer led by Rabbi Rose, Rabbi Bronstein, and Chazan Holli Berman.

Bring your menorah/chanukiah to light with the community. It’s a very special sight to see rows of lit menorahs on display together. Be a part of the excitement.

Everyone is invited. There is no charge.

Please RSVP for the 5:00 pm family program so there are enough Chanukah treats. Contact Robert Farr at (303) 499-7077 or r.farr@harhashem.org.

Congregation Har HaShem is Boulder’s reform synagogue located at 3950 Baseline Road.
