On Saturday, May 9th, 2026 (22 Iyar, 5786), Eva Shoemaker was called before the congregation as a Bat Yisrael with Adventure Judaism. A Bat Yisrael is an alternative Bar Mitzvah experience, offering a coming of age ceremony without intensive Hebrew.
