Baruch Dayan HaEmet – Marvin Chatinover z”l

Marvin Chatinover (Moshe Aron ben Yitzchak v’Chana), beloved father of Rabbi Steven Chatinover (Leah), and grandfather of Levi Chatinover (Elisa), Rav Jacob Chatinover (Julia) of Boulder, and Nadav Chatinover passed away peacefully in Connecticut on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Professionally, Marvin was a talented actor. You may recognize him from a few Woody Allen films, a recurring role in the early-2000s comedy series, Ed, or an occasional appearance on the Conan O’Brien Show. More about his professional life and legacy can be found on his IMDb Profile.

He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Miriam Chatinover (Kleinberg), his children Rabbi Steven Chatinover, Abbe Miller (Warren), and Jonathan Chatinover (Beth O’Connor), as well as 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
