The Boulder Chevra Kadisha sadly notifies you of the death and need for shmira and tahara of Arnold Fridland, age 90, a member of Har Hashem. His meit is at Crist Mortuary now.
Arnold Fridland was born in Belgium. Because he was hidden as a young boy during the war and lost most of his family, he had very little education growing up. He later immigrated to the United States where a relative took him in. Although he had very little education, he studied pharmacology and received a PhD.
He loved hiking, biking and skiing and was active outdoors until a couple years ago. He was very proud of being healthy and in good shape.
Arnold leaves a wife, Patricia Sheehan, and three children, one of whom, a son, lives in Boulder.
The schedule for shmira is HERE.
If you are new to sitting shmira and want to ask a question, please call Evie at 303-507-7001.
Thank you very much for this mitzvah. We hear often from the families that this care that we give to their loved ones is so meaningful and appreciated.
