Tie a ‘Yellow Ribbon’

Jews, Jews, Jews targeted, tortured, tormented, always. Where was the empathy, the concern, the outrage of the world, for Jewish babies, youngsters, mothers, fathers, elderly treated with brutality, without mercy, without a morsel of humanity….taken, captured, kidnapped. 

Where is the world’s concern, when Jewish women, are disrobed, ‘displayed’ like a piece of meat to the arranging, cheering, immoral, ‘religious, crowds cheering for more heinous acts…for more humiliation, for more inhumanity…..this from ‘Religious Muslims” out for not just Jewish Blood, but the ugliest, meanest, most degrading response imaginable to the demise of another human being, born the same way….all, born the same way.  Where is the world?  Who cares that Jewish women, men, children, babies, were dismembered, decapitated, shot in their genitals after they were sexually abused, undressed, displayed. 

Where were the ‘religious’ Moslems who are also creatures of ‘God’, where are the members of the UN whose very existence is to punish, call out, judge as unacceptable this kind of ‘human’ interaction!  Where are the worlds ‘RELIGIOUS’ leaders, the Bishops, the ‘fathers, the writers, the ‘deacons, the pope. 

The outrage turned on the State of Israel, for retaliation….for ANGER SO PROFOUND…THAT ‘NEVER AGAIN’ turned to ‘arms, turned to furor, turned to anger emerging from 3,000 years of being the ‘victim’.

Of being the ‘victim’ during the Holocaust where 6 million were murdered, but the ‘JEWS’ WERENT’ JUST KILLED.  THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN HUMANE.  They were made to grovel first, they were humiliated by having to disrobe in front of each other, in front of soldiers with bayonets, in front of a population that cheered, yelled, taunted, dragged, shouted horrible things to other humans, born, the exact same way…”NEVER AGAIN’. 

Jews, Israel, FOUGHT BACK THIS TIME!  Jews have an Army, they have a country which protects, defends it’s people and doesn’t ALLOW THE WORLD TO DO THIS AGAIN WITHOUT SEVERE RETRIBUTION, WITHOUT ANSWERING THE CALL TO PROTECT THEIR PEOPLE, WITHOUT HARMING THOSE WHO THINK THEY CAN USE JEWS TO BRING OUT THE MOST BESTIAL, EVIL, DISGUSTING, DISRESPECTFUL, UNGODLY ACTS HUMANS CAN PERFORM ON ANOTHER HUMAN!  Where is the World…to protect..protest…what once again, was done to the Jewish People! 

Are there issues in the Middle East, is there horror for the Palestinians…..absolutely….but largely, by their own….largely that inhumanity is perpetrated on them by evil leadership using them as shields, putting them in harms way to then, BLAME, ISRAEL for inhumanity! 

The ribbons on the ‘shoes’ is a reminder of what has been done to the Jewish People.  Passover, is the time we tell the tale of our road to freedom, to another life.  But we were hounded along the way, in every generation wishing to eradicate us.  Well, each time, the ‘RED SEA PARTED’ gave us a ‘new, continued, stronger, more resolute vision.  It showed us the way ‘out’ It led the way, if only we are strong enough, couragous enough, to protect ourselves for our own survival. 

Since the ‘ officials of the world’ didn’t respond vehemently to the most recent horrors perpetrated on them Jewish people, WE, MUST CONTINUE TO KEEP THOSE WATERS PARTED, WE MUST CONTINUE TO GET THROUGH WITH A NEW VISION OF WHO WE ARE, OUR PURPOSE IN THIS WORLD, OUR RESPONSE TO INHUMANITY, BY BY RESPONDING SERIOUSLY, WHILE RETAINING OUR OWN HUMANITY, OUR MISSION, TO REPAIR THE WORLD, TO TREAT OUR FELLOW MAN WITH RESPECT. 

As to the Shoes on the Danube.  What this little “story’’ omits, is that the Jews were tied, two, or three or five by ropes.  One was shot before they were kicked into the icy Danube of the winter of 1945, the dead one, dragging the live ones beneath the water, to die drowning, an additional act of brutality! Who can dream up such evil?  Another human?  And as if that wasn’t enough…..many were told to undress, standing naked…freezing, humiliated, and then, tied two by two……They could think of these horrors, which were then, used by Hamas ….again….again….again!   

I’ve been talking to a number of schools, and still have 2 or 3 to go, about my family story. Some of my relatives were among those on the edge of the Danube….and some, on the ‘ride’ to Auschwitz and the gas chambers.  Some, shot outside the ghetto.
