This Tuesday, April 29, is Yom Hazikaron, a day of remembrance for Israeli soldiers who gave their lives to ensure the existence of Israel. This year this day has even greater solemnity and meaning as 59 Israelis are still captive and war is raging on two fronts: Gaza and in parts of the West Bank. There will be a program at the JCC in the evening.
For 20 years two Israeli-Palestinian groups have observed this solemn day by sharing their loss and their dreams and hopes for Peace. Below is information about this moving observance. If anyone would like to get together on zoom or in person to share your thoughts and feelings, please contact me, Ed at 734 644 7305 or by email.
