New Adoptee Support Group to Start

Following a very successful Adoptee Support Group, we are entering our next season to continue our work.

Adoption related issues surface at stressful times throughout our lives. It is a deeply seated trauma that society largely ignores, leaving the adoptee to be misunderstood and with no support.

This group is for those seeking a community of other adoptees to share our origin stories, feelings, questions, and challenges. Together, we’ll learn more about why we are who we are.

We will explore how we were shaped by this life-altering event and how we can use it to become our best selves and find happiness and meaning in our relationships and our lives.

This program is facilitated by: Janice E. Shayne, CHt, Psychotherapist, Adoptee

Adult Adoptee Support Group: New Group Orientation: Tuesday, July 22nd @ 6pm. Call, text or email for address and more information: 619-738-3768 | hello@janiceshaynetherapy.com

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
