Join the Walk for Hostages on Father’s Day

There may be no media.
There may be no government officials.
There may be no speeches.

But we will be there as we’ve always been — even after an act of terrorism that has deeply rocked us, our community, and people around the world. 

Walking with us shows resilience.
It is a stand against antisemitism.

Walk for the hostages this Father’s Day.
Walk for the fathers held underground in Gaza. 
Walk in honor of the victims of the June 1 terror attack.

And walk for the 51 hostages who have not been home in 614 days (Sunday will be DAY 618).

As always, this walk is not a protest; it is a peaceful walk to show solidarity with the hostages and their families, and a plea for their release.

Sunday, June 15th marks the 618th day since 240 hostages were kidnapped from Israel and taken to Gaza. 51 of them still remain captive there, 20 who should be home with their mothers and families, and 31 who deserve a proper burial. Please – join us this Sunday to walk for all those still held hostage, and to honor those injured on June 1. The world cannot forget. Please bring posters and wear red.

The local Boulder chapter of Run For Their Lives (part of the larger Bring Them Home Now initiative) has been walking in downtown Boulder every week since Thanksgiving, 2023. That’s 82 weeks. There are 231+ groups like ours meeting internationally and across US cities (including a local Denver chapter).

Wherever you are, whether visiting friends or family or vacationing, you can join a group and walk with them, or walk on your own and post a video in the main Run For Their Lives Facebook group, in our local FB group, or on your own feeds. The initiative’s goal is to get as much press coverage as possible for the hostages through publicizing these walks.
