DENVER, CO – The Jewish Fertility Foundation (JFF) is pleased to announce its upcoming panel event, Supporting Loved Ones on a Family Building Journey – in partnership with Temple Sinai and Onto Fertility – designed for individuals and couples on a pathway to parenthood, and their supporters. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 9th, 2024, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in South Denver. The exact location will be provided to those registered one week before the event.
This interactive panel will explore how loved ones can offer meaningful support during complex and often emotional family-building experiences or infertility journeys. It will guide individuals and couples in identifying their needs and learning how to communicate them effectively.
Panelists include a dynamic lineup of experts and lived-experience voices:
- Dr. Andrea Liner, Reproductive Health Therapist
- Traci Keen, Co-Founder of Onto Fertility
- Rabbi Richard Rheins, Senior Rabbi at Temple Sinai
- Individuals who have personally navigated fertility challenges, along with supportive partners, parents, and friends
“Our support needs are as unique as our family-building journeys,” says Shira Gabry-Kalikow, JFF-Denver Manager. “Often, our loved ones don’t know how to help—because there’s no rulebook. This event aims to co-create that rulebook, offering guidance, empathy, and tools for building stronger support networks.”
JFF provides emotional support, educational programming, and financial assistance to community members trying to grow their families. Since its launch in 2023, JFF-Denver has already had a meaningful impact – providing grants to more than 40 families and individuals, and welcoming 18 babies to those that have received financial or emotional support from JFF, with 15 more on the way! The organization has also expanded support group offerings to include in-person and virtual options for primary and secondary infertility and a Boulder area support group.
