Finding Support Through Infertility: A Free Monthly Group for Women in Boulder

If you’re navigating the challenges of infertility, you don’t have to face them alone. A free monthly support group offers a safe, welcoming space for women in Boulder and surrounding communities experiencing primary or secondary infertility.

Infertility affects more people than many realize. According to the CDC, 12.5% of women in the United States use infertility services. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or have been on this path for some time, connecting with others who understand can make a meaningful difference.

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) defines infertility as a disease, condition, or status that includes:

• The inability to achieve a successful pregnancy based on medical, sexual, and reproductive history, age, physical findings, or diagnostic testing
• The need for medical intervention, including the use of donor gametes or donor embryos, to achieve pregnancy
• For those having regular, unprotected intercourse without known fertility issues, evaluation is recommended after 12 months for women under 35, or after six months for women 35 and older

Held in partnership with the Boulder JCC and the Parent and Family Wellness Center, this support group meets monthly in person and is facilitated by a local therapist. The group welcomes women from all backgrounds and circumstances, providing an opportunity to share experiences, find understanding, and build community during a challenging time.
