If you are planning to bring food to the shiva house, the family’s preference is for not too much sugar and processed foods where possible.  Fresh fruit, veggies etc are great, and I am sure anything will be appreciated!

Please help at this short notice if you are able to help us make a minyan.

Contributions in memory of Bruria Bodek Falik, z”l may be made to either  Dror Israel  or  Friends of the IDF

On Sunday Danny wrote:
Bruria passed away today at 17:46 on the Jewish holiday of Tisha b’Av, a fitting day for her remarkable journey of life that traveled from a small rural town in Hungary, the horrors of WWII, a refugee camp in Belgium, to her spiritual and cultural homeland of Israel, college in Atlanta, her marriage to Zvi in Brooklyn, family life in Wappingers Falls, NY, summer camp in High Falls, to her beloved 25 years in Woodstock, NY, and eventually Boulder, Colorado and being a prominent part of my family life here. Many adventures, always finding close friends, always generous and kind, and always holding Israel precious in her heart.

May Bruria’s memory be a blessing to all those who knew and loved her.
