10/7 Commemorative Run For Their Lives Walk

On October 5, all three Colorado Run For Their Lives Groups will be doing a joint Commemorative Walk in memory of the 1200 people murdered on October 7th, 2023 and the 251 kidnapped, 48 of whom are still held captive underground in the tunnels of Gaza.

We invite you to join us on this walk. For security purposes, time and location are only being shared privately. You can request to join Boulder Run For Their Lives group via the www.run4lives.org website. 

We will have enhanced security measures in place for the 10/5 walk.

May the hostages be released in the coming days, and may we see a newfound hope for peace. Say their names. Zachor. Remember.

As always, this walk is not a protest; it is a peaceful walk to show solidarity with the hostages and their families, and a plea for their release.

Sunday, October 5th marks the 730th day since 240 hostages were kidnapped from Israel and taken to Gaza. 48 of them still remain captive there.

The local Boulder chapter of Run For Their Lives has been walking in Boulder every week since Thanksgiving, 2023. That’s 97 weeks. There are 185+ groups like ours meeting internationally and across US cities (including local Denver and Ft. Collins chapters).

Wherever you are, whether visiting friends or family or vacationing, you can join a group and walk with them, or walk on your own and post a video in the main Run For Their Lives Facebook group, in our local FB group, or on your own feeds. The initiative’s goal is to get as much press coverage as possible for the hostages through publicizing these walks.
