Upcoming Women of the J Events

With programming focusing on building community through social and educational opportunities, Women of the J have numerous activities planned for May. Join us at the Boulder JCC to learn and socialize with our local community through the following activities and events.

  • Author Buzzy Jackson will analyze and discuss her book To Die Beautiful on Thursday, May 2 from 7 – 8:30 pm with the Women of the J book club. For more information, please click here.
  • Serendipity isn’t found — it’s made. With no-nonsense advice and practical takeaways for happiness and success, motivational powerhouse, Harvard Business Review writer, and Google executive, Jenny Wood, will share the truth about what it takes to get what you want. Most importantly, a success mindset comes before success itself. Join the Women of the J on Tuesday, May 7 from 7 – 8:30 pm to help minimize imposter syndrome, empower you, and help improve your wellbeing.  To register for the event, follow this link.
  • Volunteer on Thursday, May 9 to help prepare soup cookies and biscuits for families impacted by the Marshall Fire. With the supervision of Chef Miche Bacher and Chef Amy Cramer, help chop, package, and prepare up to 400 portions for those impacted by the Marshall Fire. Register through the Boulder JCC website.
  • Join the Women of the J on Friday, May 17 at 9 am for a fun, low-pressure hiking meetup to get outside, get your daily steps, and connect with others on a beautiful local trail. Register through the Boulder JCC website.
  • Kick off the summer with the Women of the J Social on Wednesday, June 5 from 6 – 8 pm to schmooze, see old friends, and make new ones. The event will take place off-campus with refreshments and a light dinner. Register through the Boulder JCC website, an address will be provided to those who register a few days before the event.
