Social Media Campaign Targets “Jew-Hating” Ethnic Studies Department at the CU-Boulder

Conservative watchdog group challenges university administrators to investigate violations of Jewish students’ civil rights.  

A social media blitz launched this month by the David Horowitz Freedom Center is targeting “Jew-hating” academic departments and centers at ten prestigious American universities which have used university resources to vilify the Jewish people and their homeland of Israel in direct violation of federal Civil Rights law.

The Ethnic Studies Department at the University of Colorado-Boulder is among the departments targeted by the social media campaign which will place eye-catching graphics and posters exposing the Department’s promotion of Jew hatred directly into the Facebook and Instagram feeds of individuals with a connection to the campus.

Posters and graphics created for the campaign charge that the Department is “Standing with Hamas” and “Complicit in Jew Hatred.” They call on CU-Boulder Chancellor Philip DiStefano to launch an immediate investigation to determine whether the Title VI rights of Jewish students have been violated by the Department’s statements and conduct.

The social media posts will also link to a detailed report documenting the Jew-hatred espoused by the Department and the reasons for its inclusion in the campaign.
