Congregation Nevei Kodesh, Oasis of Holiness, is hosting a special Shabbat gathering, Shabbat at the Oasis, on Friday, November 15, 5:30 – 8 pm.
Join us for this musical, joyful, community-building, catered Shabbat dinner, featuring Nevei Kodesh’s wonderful spiritual and musical leaders.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your friends, family, neighbors to experience the heartfelt, transformative Judaism at Congregation Nevei Kodesh.

Here’s the schedule of events for the evening, MC’ed by Board President Deb Skovron and Religious School Director Sarah Nowak:
5:30 – 5:45 pm: Arrive, find your nametag and table in the Sanctuary. As you walk in, grab appetizers and drinks (wine and non-alcoholic seltzer and water) and place a pin or two on our interactive ancestry map.
5:45 – 6:20: Join Ba’alat Tefilah Michelle Wolf, Susan Berman, and Joe Lukasik in a few joyful musical prayers followed by Shabbat blessings. Welcome your neighbors into Shabbat!
6:20 – 7: Buffet dinner provided by Community Table Kitchen (of Bridge House). All food will be vegetarian, with Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and kid-friendly options. While you nosh, get to know your seat mates by answering thought provoking questions provided on each table.
7 – 7:10: More music and song!
7:10 – 7:20: D’var Torah (Teaching) by Rabbi Diane Tiferet
7:20 – 7:50: Dessert and Israeli Dancing taught by Gillian Longley
7:50 – 8 pm: Closing and goodnight!
