Next Level Shavuot Night Learning

Please join Chabad of NW Metro Denver, for an evening of exciting learning this coming Tuesday June 11, in conjunction with the holiday of Shavuot when we commemorate the giving of the Torah.

Three 45-minute lessons will be presented. 

8:00 pm
The Truth of Sinai
Is there a rational basis to accept that G-d revealed Himself at Sinai.  
Why was Maimonides convinced of this?
Presented by Leah Brackman

9:00 pm
Break and Light holiday Meal

9:30 pm
Dead Sea Scrolls
The scrolls reveal an intense debate over Jewish ritual and philosophy.
Who were these sectarians? What were their beliefs?
Presented by Rabbi Benjy Brackman

10:30 pm
The Hostage Dilemma
Should we pay sizable ransoms or release dangerous criminals in exchange for hostages?
Presented by Rabbi Benjy Brackman

The evening will also include a light holiday meal and ongoing refreshments.
