Jewish Organizations Are Invited to Join Inaugural Jewish Colorado Gives Day Campaign

(DENVER) – JEWISHcolorado (Jco) today announced the inaugural Jewish Colorado Gives Day set for May 21, 2024, hosted by Jco in collaboration with the Colorado Gives Foundation. The goal of the philanthropic giving campaign is to engage at least half of the more than 100 qualified Jewish organizations statewide and to generate $1,000,000 in philanthropic support for them.

“It is more important than ever to support Jewish organizations, and we hope Jewish Colorado Gives Day showcases our community’s strength and vibrancy and brings much-needed support for their work,” said Renée Rockford, President & CEO of JEWISHcolorado. “The Colorado Jewish Gives Day campaign will run from May 5-21, 2024. Matching and incentive gifts secured by Jco for the community will be announced prior to the campaign’s start.”

Many Jewish organizations participate in Colorado Gives Day each year, and by hosting Jewish Colorado Gives Day on the ColoradoGives.org platform will make it easy and familiar for organizations and donors to participate. “We created ColoradoGives.org to make giving easy and impactful. The online giving platform has evolved from just a tool used for Colorado Gives Day to a year-round fundraising and capacity building site for Colorado nonprofits, making it easy for donors to support the causes they care about most,” said Kelly Dunkin, Colorado Gives Foundation President & CEO.

“We believe Jewish Colorado Gives Day will highlight the incredible work organizations statewide are doing to sustain Jewish life while connecting them to new potential donors and participants,” said Rockford.
