Former Shlichim Will Join Am Yisrael Chai: A JEWISHcolorado Celebrate Israel Event

(DENVER) — JEWISHcolorado invites the Jewish community to join “Am Yisrael Chai: A JEWISHcolorado-Celebrate Israel” event on Sunday, May 5, from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Great Lawn Park in Denver.

Historically, Celebrate Israel has been Colorado’s largest festival dedicated to the people, culture, land, and State of Israel. Am Yisrael Chai aims to continue to bring together Jewish people and allies from across the Centennial State for music, food, and connection. Together, we will honor those who have dedicated their time, energy, and lives to protecting Israel and its people, enjoy delicious food and drink, and, most importantly, show our support for Israel as one Colorado Jewish community.

At the festival, JEWISHcolorado will welcome former Shlichim Shaul Amir, Raz Arbel, Osnat Fox, Itai Divinsky, and others.

“This reunion of people with whom we have maintained decades of friendship underscores Colorado’s strong connection to the people of Israel.

“Every year, this event connects people in unforgettable ways—whether it’s singing Hatikvah, waving the flag of Israel, dancing and eating together, or meeting new and old friends and allies. This year will be more meaningful than ever, as we convene to show our solidarity with friends and family.”

— Renée Rockford, JEWISHcolorado President & CEO.

The event opens at 9:30 a.m. and will include live music and family activities. Registration for Am Yisrael Chai is free, but advance registration is required. The ever-popular event t-shirts are $12. Details and registration: Learn more and register to become a Community Partner: JEWISHcolorado gives special thanks to sponsor Michael Staenberg.
