Excitement Rises for Second Annual Great Challah Bake with The Women’s Experience

Denver, CO   – The Women’s Experience, an educational branch of The Jewish Experience, is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated Challah Bake event on Thursday, November 14th, 2024. This community favorite, hosted by Women’s Experience Director, Gila Ross and featuring the renowned challah instructor Giti Fredman from Just Bake It!, promises to be an evening of delicious creativity, connection, and fun.

The event, which sold out last year, offers participants a unique silent disco baking experience. Each attendee will receive personal headphones, allowing them to follow along with Giti Fredman’s expert instructions while enjoying music and mingling with fellow bakers. This year, guests will have additional time to schmooze and connect with one another without headphones during this interactive and engaging event.

“Last year was my first experience of participating in a challah bake,” said Mindy Wolpa, who attended last year’s event. “Connecting with the women and making challah together brought me closer and deeper to my Judaism. It was profound.”

Event Details:

Date: Thursday, November 14th, 2024
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: BMH-BJ, 560 S. Monaco Parkway, Denver

Those wishing to reserve their own table(s) are encouraged to register early and invite seven friends to fill their tables for an unforgettable evening. Attendees will enjoy a hands-on challah baking session, with each guest leaving with fresh dough ready to bake at home.

“The best ingredients of the challah bake are the women and girls who gather together in community to share in an uplifting, meaningful, musical and exhilarating challah making experience.” Said Andrea Hyatt, Board Member for The Jewish Experience. “No knead to fret but, doughn’t delay as our last challah bake was a sell out.”

Registration: Reserved tables and general admission tickets are available now, but space is limited! To ensure a spot at this year’s Challah Bake, we encourage early registration. Visit TheJE.com/ChallahBake to purchase tickets.

About The Women’s Experience: The Women’s Experience brings Jewish women together for the purpose of enriching, exploring and enhancing their connection to their Judaism, their community, and their heritage through myriad learning opportunities, social gatherings and meaningful experiences. It is founded on the time-honored premise that women play a pivotal role in the health and well-being of a family, a community, and a people. With their intuitive strength, commitment to others, and powerful influence over so many varied parts of life, it is an accepted truism today that if you can elevate the life of even just one Jewish woman, you elevate the whole world.
