Boulder JCC Joyfully Celebrates 2nd Annual Women’s Seder

Last Wednesday night marked the 2nd annual Women’s Seder at the Boulder JCC, a gathering filled with joy, enlightenment, and inspiration. Through an interpretive seder, led by Rabbi Eva Sax-Bolder accompanied by a group of talented musicians and singers, the Passover narrative was interwoven with the voices and experiences of women, fostering a space for connection, introspection, self-expression, and even some dancing. It was a truly meaningful and empowering experience for all who participated.

The collective spirits were uplifted by the nearly 200 women who united to participate in such an enchanting evening, delving into the role of women in the 21st century. Together participants reflected on the strides women have made and acknowledged the obstacles that still exist for our sisters, both within the Jewish community and beyond.

This night of wonder wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated volunteers who put together this memorable program. Providing a platform for women to convene, share their narratives, and contemplate the holiday’s themes through a female lens is important. We eagerly anticipate continuing this newfound tradition for years to come.
