Baruch Dayan HaEmet – Gerald Sloat z”l

Gerald “Jerry” Sloat passed away on Thursday evening, October 31st, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends. He was 79.  He is survived by his wife Gail, children Daniel, Emily and Adam and four grandchildren.

The memorial service will take place at Congregation Har HaShem on Tuesday, November 5th at 11am. The graveside service will take place at Mountain View Memorial Park at 12:15pm on the same day (3016 Kalmia Ave.)

Shiva is set for Wednesday and Thursday, 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm, with a service at 7:00 pm, and Friday, 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm at Gail’s home.

The family has requested that acts of tzedakah (righteous giving) in Jerry’s memory be made to the Anti-Defamation League, Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, or Community Food Share. We will update this as more information becomes available.
