About Worry, a Conversation with God

About Worry, a Conversation with God

Self-Why do I worry?
It’s what I learned to do
[I’m scared] What if something is wrong

God-Do your best to fix it

Self-What if it can’t be fixed
Or I don’t know what to do
Then I may have more
anxiety  [I’m scared]

God-It’s okay,
Loving yourself is what you
can do

Self-Will worry fix the outcome,
any outcome?

God-Worry doesn’t fix anything,
It makes it worse

Self-I am not the worry
It is not me, it is not who I am

God-That is correct

Self-Some say worry is a sin
Against the self

God-It’s time to be you
Let the joy come through
Loving yourself is what
You can do

About Todd Greenberg

Through prayer, worship, Torah Study, and Kabbalah I have been inspired to write poetry that tends more to the spiritual and mystical aspects found in Judaism. What comes "through" me I try to put into words. I hope that at least some of what I post to BJN will resonate with you and that you find inspiration from it for your own journey. Thank you for allowing to share my writings. Blessings, Todd
