Our hearts are broken as our nation mourns in unison. We are with you in every way and want you to know you are not alone.
We invite you to join us for an Israel Solidarity Friday night where we will celebrate Shabbat together, sing uplifting songs, and hear words of inspiration.
Happening this Friday night, Oct. 13 at 6:30 pm. RSVP needed: boulderjudaism@gmail.com or 720-422-6776.
Additionally, do you have relatives in Israel or know someone who does? Could they use a pick-me-up? We are preparing some homemade Challah and small gifts to bring some comfort—a virtual hug if you will
Please let us know if you would like to pick up one of these packages. Text 720-422-6776.
In times of trouble, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, would call upon all Jews to increase their Torah study, prayer, and acts of charity.
Traditionally, Jews have turned to the book of Psalms to pray in times of sorrow. We are taught that these Psalms have great power to bring healing to the world.
Perhaps you would consider adding the following prayer to your daily prayer during this crisis:
Our brothers and sisters the whole house of Israel, who are in distress and captivity who wander over sea and over land — may God have mercy on them, and bring them from distress to comfort, from darkness to light, from slavery to redemption, now, swiftly, and soon.
