Eran Doron, the Mayor of Boulder’s Israeli sister city Ramat HaNegev, provided this exclusive video message to the Boulder Jewish News on Thursday, October 18, 2023. Ramat HaNegev is less than Mayor Doron describes his personal experience on Saturday, October 7th when the attacks began, and the steps he and his leadership have taken to both secure Ramat HaNegev as well as to care for over 3,000 survivors and evacuees from the Gaza Envelope attacks.

Ramat HaNegev (outlined in red dotted line in the lower half of the map) is less than 25 miles from Gaza.
