Parks, Picnics, and Shabbat: Boulder JCC Brings Families Together for Outdoor Celebrations

Parks, Picnics, and Shabbat: Boulder JCC Brings Families Together for Outdoor Celebrations

The Boulder JCC will be hosting two Family Shabbat in the Park events in August. These programs will be outside events at local parks, you are encouraged to bring outdoor lounging gear and picnic items necessary for your family or friends.

Friday, August 4 we will meet in Erie and on Friday, August 25 we will meet at a park in Louisville. Both programs run from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. Information regarding location will be sent prior to the event to those that have registered.

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with neighbors and old friends, make new connections, and welcome Shabbat with songs, blessings, challah, and grape juice. Challah and grape juice will be provided, gluten-free Challah options are available when registering.

Everyone is welcome, but this program is tailored to families with children Newborn – 7 Years and their caregiver(s).

Advance registration is required, $20 per family. For more information and to register please click here for the Erie event and click here for the Louisville event.

Please contact Shari Blake Schnee at shari@boulderjcc.org with any questions.
