New Group Organizes Colorado Jewish Climate Summit

There’s a new Jewish climate action group in Colorado: Colorado Jewish Climate Action or CJCA https://www.coloradojewishclimateaction.org. We’re new and growing! Our members live in the Boulder-Denver area, and we’re reaching out around the state. We’re lobbying state legislators to take bold action on climate change as well as promoting youth empowerment and the greening of the Jewish community.

On Sunday, February 5, we’re putting together a Jewish Climate Action Summit, featuring a day of speakers, study, dialogue, inspiration, and community building. Keynote speakers include Shoshana Lew of the Colorado Department of Transportation and Rabbi Jennie Rosenn of Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action.

Sponsors include Rodef Shalom, JEWISHcolorado, Bonai Shalom, Har HaShem, Hazon, and Namaste Solar.

More information and registration available here.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
