Neustadt JAAMM Series Continues With Four Events in October

The Neustadt Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies and Music Series (JAAMM) kicked off last Wednesday night at the JCC Denver Mizel Arts and Culture Center with ABC News analyst Dan Abrams. The series continues in October with a book sale, author events and a play called True Colors where Jews of Color will share real, unique stories about their own lives. 

  • October 9-13, 2023 – Jewish Book Sale in the JCC Denver main lobby
    • Titles from all our presented authors at JAAMM for the year will be available for purchase*. PLUS, our bargain book tables include a smattering of titles from past years. Come browse and learn about all upcoming authors for the season before walking out with a new book (or two)!
  • October 9, 2023 – Author Dini Klein, Prep + Rally: An Hour of Prep, A Week of Delicious Meals 
    • Dini Klein is a rising Instagram star and founder of the popular meal-prep service Prep + Rally. Come learn about her new book, a guide to delicious, family-friendly meals with less stress, less expense, and minimal time. Stay for a book signing following the event! 
  • October 11, 2023 – Author Thom Shanker, Age of Danger: Keeping America Safe in an Era of New Superpowers, New Weapons, New Threats 
    • In this talk, Mr. Shanker will draw on his 40-year career as a journalist on the front lines of history to describe not only what must be done across our government, but the obligation of every one of us to be part of an informed citizenry, engaged in these life-and-death issues facing our nation. 
  •  October 25, 2023 – The Braid presents ‘True Colors’
    • True Colors, a salon theatre show in which Jews of Color share true stories about their yearning for belonging and the rich and complicated question that is identity. While all people face challenges and struggles, Jews of Color have many touching and unique stories to tell about resilience, self-respect, and celebrating the many colors and voices in our community.
