April 2023 marks the celebration of National Poetry Month, a month-long observance that honors the importance of poetry. This event was first established by the Academy of American Poets in 1996, and since then, it has become a tradition for poetry lovers around the world. National Poetry Month also serves as a reminder of the rich history and diverse voices that make up the world of poetry and encourages us all to explore the many ways in which poetry can inspire and enrich our lives.
The Boulder JCC is excited to take part in National Poetry Month with the JCC Poetry Circle on April 19, 2023 from 10 – 11:30 AM! A small group hosted by Jeremy Nash will gather to relish in good, accessible poems and spirited conversation. Get inspired by your love of language, natural curiosity, and the poems’ invitation to reflect further on our lives. In addition, Jeremy will guide you through a remarkable harvesting exercise to complete this event. All poems will be carefully curated and sent to the participants in advance, registration is limited.
Jeremy Nash, M.I.M., M.Ed. is a Re-ignition coach, working with individuals and organizations to relocate the passion, the pop, the purpose for their work, and the means to create extraordinary results.
