NAACP Boulder County Presents Annual Freedom Fund Event Feb. 19 FREE

NAACP Boulder County is presenting the Nashville African American Wind Symphony (NAAWS) for our annual Freedom Fund event on Sunday February 19th at 3 pm at Macky Auditorium.  We invite the whole community to join us in this premiere event featuring the only all Black symphony in the United States.  NAAWS has a mission to inspire and educate.  Their mission also includes promoting the classical arts for African American youth.  Please advertise in congregation newsletter and/or announcements.

NAACP Boulder County continues our tradition of showcasing Black Excellence not usually available in our region.  Please consider supporting our work by attending NAACP’s  Freedom Fund event and joining us in celebration of an inclusive Boulder community!

The event is free, however registration on Eventbrite is recommended, with group reservations and seating is available.

More information about the Nashville African American Wind Symphony can be found here: https://www.naawsmusic.org.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
