Letter to Boulder City Council: Tearing Down of Hostage Signs on Pearl Street Mall (2)

Letter to Boulder City Council: Tearing Down of Hostage Signs on Pearl Street Mall (2)

Dear Boulder City Council:

I wish this incident captured on video was unbelievable in our fair City. Shall those who hang the hostage posters need to resort to what has been done elsewhere: mega taping and vaseline etc to discourage opponents’ (there can be such a thing?) from removing them? An aware police force would be helpful, but it is essentially useless unless there is a relevant ordinance. Police can’t enforce civility.

Once again, we await a clear moral voice of condemnation and leadership from City Council. Please rise to the occasion.

Thank you –

Bruce Shaffer

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
