JCC Denver to Host Pride Shabbat, Organize Local Jewish Organizations to Participate in Denver Pride

On Friday, June 23 from 6-8:30 p.m. the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC Denver) is hosting its annual Pride Shabbat with a Pride-themed Kabbalat Shabbat (welcoming the Shabbat) Service led by LGBTQIA+ community members which is free and open to all. Shabbat dinner will follow for an additional fee on a sliding scale with hardship pricing available.

The JCC Denver is also spearheading a united Jewish presence at Denver PrideFest on June 24 and 25 and for the Pride Parade on June 25. Including the JCC, there are 19 area organizations as part of this effort! The Jewish community will be present at PrideFest all weekend in the Family Zone and will be marching in the Pride Parade.
