In recent years, learning to understand our own genetics has allowed us and our children to live healthier lives. The Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC Denver) is partnering with JScreen and Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance to provide an informational panel discussion on genetic screening for both reproductive purposes and early detection of cancer. Members of the community will share their stories and medical professionals will be present to provide insights and information on this incredibly important process.
JScreen is offering a promotional code for no out-of-pocket costs for testing for the first 50 people who register. The code will be distributed at the event. Interested individuals must provide insurance information and use a Colorado address. There is no out-of-pocket cost for testing if you provide insurance information, regardless of insurance coverage, co-pays, or deductibles ($299 value).
The event will take place on April 30, 2023 from 3-5 p.m. at the JCC Denver in the Phillips Social Hall. This program is free of charge. Registration is required.
