Colorado Summer of Art Tour Kicks Off in Boulder in July

35th Annual Colorado Summer of Art Tour Returns with Six Stunning Festival Showcases

COLORADO (June 9, 2023) –Howard Alan Events (HAE), producer of the nation’s top juried, outdoor art festivals, brings its popular artistic showcases back to Colorado during the 35th Annual Summer of Art Colorado Series. Along with its unmatched festivals in Aspen, Keystone, Boulder, Beaver Creek and Mountain Village/Telluride, HAE is proud to welcome its newest event in Steamboat Springs.

The series launches with the 3rd Annual Boulder Fine Art Street Festival at 29th Street on July 8 – 9, before celebrating two decades of unparalleled art during the 20th Annual Downtown Aspen Fine Art Festival on July 15 – 16. Local and visiting fine artists will fill the streets next at the 7th Annual Keystone River Run Village Art Festival on July 21 – 23. Back by popular demand, the 2nd Annual Mountain Village/Telluride Fine Art Festival returns for three days across three locations on July 28 – 30. Then, HAE presents the show that started it all during the 35th Annual Beaver Creek Fine Art Festival on August 5, 6 and 7. The Summer of Art series concludes with the newest showcase during the Steamboat Springs Festival of the Arts on August 12 – 13.

The highly selective exhibitions showcase a wide variety of fine art, including paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, glass, wood, metal, leather, handmade jewelry, collage and mixed media. What sets these art shows apart from the rest is that admission is always free and the artists are present during the whole weekend to answer questions, take custom orders and explain the stories behind their works. Different local and visiting artists in each show provide patrons the opportunity to “follow the tour,” enabling them to find new talent and artistic inspiration at each event.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
