Chanukah’s Striving

Rushing down the slope of despair-looking for answers.
Walking  up the path to where the Genie resides, will You be my guide?
Looking to the left, to the right, front side and back, nothing there.
Going deeper inside I strive to be the most vulnerable I can be.
Stop trying so hard the Soul says to me, just love yourself and be what you will be.
I took my time, asking the questions that have no answers. The Genie surprised me;
Keep climbing the path with Joy and Laughter, let that take you to the Sublime.
That is where the Light resides. Happy Chanukah!
