April Comedy Show and Art Show at the JCC Denver

The JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center’s Neustadt JAAMM Series has two more events in its season on April 20 and 25, 2023.

 Avi Liberman

Orthodox Jewish comedian Avi Liberman will perform at the JCC Denver on Thursday, April 20 at 7 p.m. MST and students from the JCC Denver’s Tight Five: Stand-up Comedy Class will perform their acts, as well. Students in the class are Denverites who are interested in learning the art of comedy and how to be a comedian. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefit the Wolf Theatre Academy scholarship fund, supporting student attendance at summer camps and programs. Paul Margolis

The JCC Denver will also be hosting an art show and discussion with documentary and fine art photographer Paul Margolis on Tuesday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. Margolis will discuss his black and white photography of Jews, Christians and Muslims in Israel including a presentation about his work. His photos of Israel show merchants, fishermen, rock festivals and other compelling scenes that capture the vibrancy of daily life in Israel.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
