Training on Supporting Our Community, a Free Virtual Program Hosted by Boulder JCC

On January 11, the Boulder JCC hosted a free virtual training with our partners at JResponse, a program of JCC Association. Mark Young and Jenny Schwartz from the JResponse team shared techniques and tools on how to effectively and compassionately talk to community members impacted by the fires. Their training reviewed the fundamentals of providing social and emotional relief to those impacted by trauma, utilizing guidance and resources from the National Council of Well-Being’s Mental Health First Aid Training. This virtual program was recorded, and you can access it HERE.
