Take Climate Action During Passover 2022

Big Banks: Stop Funding Fossil Fuels! Passover Action, 4/19

Please join us for a Passover rally to demand liberation from Fossil Fuels! REGISTER HERE!

During the weeks around Passover, Jews and allies around the country will gather outside the branches and offices of the banks and asset managers that exacerbate the climate crisis by investing their money in Fossil Fuel Pharaohs: oil, gas, and coal companies.

We will publicly proclaim today’s fossil-fueled plagues, and lift up matzah as a symbol of urgency, calling on these financial institutions to move their dough.

When: Tuesday, April 19th, 12-1pm
Where: Wells Fargo, 1701 Lincoln St, Denver, CO
Who: All are welcome. The action is sponsored by Colorado Jewish Climate Action, Colorado Jews for Justice, and Dayenu.
Register: HERE and please indicate you are going on our Facebook invite page.

From our friends at Jewish Earth Alliance: Fund Freedom from Fossil Fuels

In November, the US House of Representatives passed $550 billion for climate solutions.  Now the Senate must vote to reduce energy costs, create jobs with a Civilian Climate Corps, and protect coasts and forests.  Take action with Jewish Earth Alliance for freedom from fossil fuels this Passover. Write your legislators now.
