Remembering the 10th Anniversary of Sandy Hook and Too Many Others

In the wake of yet another mass murder in Colorado, Club Q in Colorado Springs, as well as other recent mass murders, at the University of Virginia and a Walmart in Virginia, this Dec. 14th marks the 10th anniversary of the Sandy Hook school massacre that galvanized so many of us into action.

To remember all victims and survivors of gun violence, five Boulder faith communities — Bonai Shalom, Har HaShem, First Congregational UCC, Community UCC, and St Aidan’s Episcopal – are organizing a vigil on the Pearl Street Mall. Similar vigils will be held in downtown Denver and throughout the metro area. For more information on the Boulder vigil, please see the attached flyer. And please attend the vigil and help to create more awareness of this ongoing threat to community safety.

About Staff

They call me "NewsHound IV," because I'm a clever Finnegan, sniffing out stories all over the Boulder area. I love Jewish holidays because the food is GREAT, especially the brisket. Well all the food. I was a rescue pup and glad to be on the scent!
