Words of loving-kindness (Ahavas Chesed) is the focus for this November’s Clean Speech Colorado. Launched in 2019 and the brainchild of Rabbi Raphael Leban, the Clean Speech Campaign “unites communities in making real and lasting improvements in how we speak to build a more positive, respectful, and peaceful world, one word at a time.”
Join Yehudis Fishman to share many examples from Torah, Talmud, Mystics, and contemporary sources about how the power of words can lift our spirits even from the darkest places. Learn how we can choose our words with family, friends, and even strangers to bring blessing, healing, and hope to all those around us. You will also be encouraged to share your personal experiences about how loving words helped you to navigate the turbulent waters of your life.
