Boulder Celebrates Israel 74 Together

Yom Haatzmaut Party at Boulder JCC with JEWISHcolorado

Hundreds of community members turned up in person to celebrate Israel’s 74th birthday outdoors on a beautiful afternoon, Thursday May 5, 2022. The Boulder JCC patio was the site of the celebration that was long on music, food and good times, and very short on speeches. In fact, the only speech was from Boulder City Councilman Aaron Brockett, who gave a shout out to Boulder’s Israeli Sister City, Ramat HaNegev.

JEWISHcolorado’s Shinshinim (teen emissaries from Israel) were in the crowd to lend authenticity and a native joy to the afternoon. Eyal Rivlin’s band provided Israeli music, and food was provided by BOYCHIK from Avanti in downtown Boulder, and The Village Nosh.
