Baruch Dayan HaEmet – Solomon Kimerling z”l

Solomon Kimerling (Shlomo Pinchas ben Mordechai Lieb v’Tamara), father of Elise, Michael, Judith and Leslie, passed away peacefully early on the morning of April 7, 2022, surrounded by his family in Boulder.  Sol was very deeply loved for his wit, wisdom, kindness and generosity and will be greatly missed. Sol moved to Boulder to live with his daughter Leslie and her partner Butch in 2018 and loved his last years of life here with mountain views, blue skies and clouds of Colorado. Before Covid, Sol loved attending services at Bonai Shalom and shared his amazing stories with the community.

Sol will be buried back home in Birmingham next to his beloved Rita on Sunday.
