Florence Lavin (Feigele bat Rach Leah v’Beryl), mother of Francine Lavin Weaver, passed away this morning in Springfield, Massachusetts. Florence was 99 years old and lived a full life!
There will be a service and burial in Springfield at Congregation Beth El at 11am (9am mountain time) this Friday September 23rd. The service will be livestreamed through the synagogue’s website here.
Even though Rosh HaShanah traditionally ends the shiva, we will be gathering in support of Francine and her family on Wednesday and Thursday evenings next week (28th and 29th) for them to mourn their loss and share memories with their Boulder community.
We will gather 7:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday at 2930 Broadway St #201, Boulder, CO 80304
May the neshama of Feigele be at peace after her long journey in this world and her memory be a blessing.
Hamakom y’nachem, we wish Francine, her sisters and all their families, including Francine’s children Shayna (Stacey), Becca (Jeff) and David and grandchildren Avital, Oren, Erez and Julian, strength and comfort along with all the mourners.
Blessings,
Rabbi Marc
